Dear Friends, 

Just to let you know that my dear friend and fellow soldier of the Cross, Peter Goosen, went home to be with our Lord Jesus Christ last night. 

When I think of him I think of a modern day Paul. Small in stature with a real lion’s heart, with a short fuse, but one of the most gentle men that I have ever known. I am going to miss him terribly! 

The word of God tells us in 2 Timothy 4:6-8  

“⁶ For I am already being poured out as a drink offering, and the time of my departure is at hand. ⁷ I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith. ⁸ Finally, there is laid up for me the crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous Judge, will give to me on that Day, and not to me only but also to all who have loved His appearing.”

That is exactly what Peter Goosen has done and this is a reminder to us that life is very short and there is no time left to waste with petty issues. We need to be prepared and ready at all times to meet our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ.
