MMC Karoo report back

What a privilege it was to be part of KMMC 2013. The Lord performed so many miracles and wonders that we stand in awe and say: “How great is our God”. Preparation for KMMC 2013 included 40 days of 6am-to-6pm prayer at the Renosterfontein venue. A number of Middelburg churches also participated in intercession before and during each session of the weekend. The KMMC committee took a step in faith in 2013 as the Lord laid it on our hearts to allow free entrance to all those attending, which placed our feet on the water and made us even more aware of how completely dependent we are on the Lord. Another change was the English, Afrikaans and Xhosa translations that were broadcast through the audiences’ cellphones, which allowed all attending to follow and understand the messages directly without interruption. The guys started arriving at the farm as early as 10 days before KMMC 2013 started, which added to the anticipation for the event. Greg, Jilly and their two boys visited from Shalom a couple of days before the start of the event and donated books and DVDs to hand out at the entrance, so those attending the event were blessed even before...

SHALOM MINISTRIES PRAYER LETTER 

October 2012

Dear Prayer Partners

 ELOHIM CHURCH 20th OCTOBER

 Over the weekend of the 20th October 2012 this lively church will be celebrating their 20th anniversary. They have a vision to remain active and effective for our Lord Jesus Christ in the years to come. Our brother Angus will share with them in their celebrations at 10.00 am on the 20th October 2012 at Elohim in Alberton. Let us pray for our brother and the leaders of Elohim Church. We thank our Lord Jesus for this church that He has raised up for His glory. Please pray that the Lord will give Angus the words of encouragement, exhortation and comfort needed and for the strengthening of the whole congregation and the Elders. We thank the Lord for the Elders that He has called and has given the awesome task of caring for and feeding the flock over which the Holy Spirit has appointed them as overseers. May we always be reminded that the people God has given us has been purchased by His blood.
