MMC ANNOUNCEMENT

Due to unforseen circumstances, it has become necessary for us to register the names 'Mighty Men', 'MMC' and 'Angus Buchan', a procedure which is already in progress, and would therefore request that any men's events you organise be renamed accordingly. There are at this stage no MMC events planned for next year, (2013).

We thank you for your understanding in this regard and pray for Gods blessing on your preparations.

The threefold vision of Shalom is:

1 The Great Commission - Mark 16:15
2 Caring for Orphans and Widows - James 1:27
3 Equipping Saints for the work of Ministry - Matthew 28:20.

Everything undertaken at Shalom embraces this vision. Shalom is also home to a community of families and believers who live and work as a team at Shalom.

MY LATEST...

A Million Colors

Last night I had the privilege of viewing the film on circuit at the moment called "A Million Colors." This film challenged me profoundly. A film that was made during a very dark period in our beloved South Africa. 'A Million Colors' is filled with love, redemption and most of all hope and this film has reminded me again that the work is not completed in South Africa. There is still a tremendous need for reconciliation between the beautiful people of our nation and that the only true conciliation will take place when we acknowledge Jesus Christ as Lord and Saviour. I am a firm believer of not looking back but taking hold of the plough and looking forward, Luke 9:62 however, now and again it is good for us to reflect on where we have come from and where we are headed to. With the love that is displayed as the golden thread through this film we know without a doubt that there is hope for our beloved nation and it will come through the Lord Jesus Christ.

God bless

Angus
