Dear Oom Angus

In 2009 I planned to visit Mighty Men 2009 and even booked my stand, but I didn’t go due to working circumstances. In 2010 myself and a few friends decided again to go and this time took the road down to Greytown via the Umpumalanga. Little did we know that the devil will do anything he can to stop us from getting there, just outside Leandra we hit a pothole that totally destroyed two of the left hand rims and tyres of the SUV, the pothole were so deep that the back window shuttered and we were stranded between nowhere and nothing at night time. But we said even if we crawl to Greytown we will get to the MMC 2010, God wants us to be there. We replaced the back wheel with the biscuit type the SUV had and used the best of the damaged rims and run flat tyres (with a hole as big as my fist in the side)to slowly drive thru the darkness at night get to Secunda where the only dealership for the SUV were, the Lord were with us!

We then reached Secunda late at night and the guard at the dealership helped us to get the number of the foremen of this dealership, we phoned him at that time of the night thinking he would not answer, but  little did we know he were also preparing for the trip to MMC, but he came out and said that he could only help us the next day (Friday). This amazing man, a Christian, arranged with one of his friends for us place at a guest house of outstanding quality for a very small tariff. The next morning we had a stunning breakfast before we go, this were also a Christian man boss of the guest house! At the dealership we sat in the waiting room while they do the repair work on the SUV that morning and the elder lady behind the counter asked where our four men are on the way to, and as we answered her to MMC 2010, she stunningly answered the following “ the devil is trying to stop you from going, don’t let him get this right!, go and don’t turn around”  At that stage we were all amazed that the Lord did not once left us alone on the trip, he protected us and MMC 2010 changed the life of me and my friends that were with me and the young men in my company that also went there forever! Praise the Lord!! We also learned that day that this Dealership has arranged a bus for its entire personnel to go to Greytown that Friday afternoon, what a magic to have a Christian Boss in Secunda

Tonight when I write this letter to you I am at the crossroads again, my heart and health are not good, the economy are bad and the stress levels go thru the roof with our Company, we are a Christian company and we believe with all our heart that God will help us, Oom Angus, God renewed your heart when you had the attack in 2009, Jesus said in the Bible, “To Me is given all power in heaven and on earth” and on another place a man said to Jesus ” Lord you just have to speak and it will happen” my humble request to you and your team, please, please pray for me my health, my family and ask God to help our company thru this stormy waters, to give me as the head of this company a vision to work for Him alone, as so many people eat from this table.

May God bless you and your team, for the great work you do, I can’t wait to go to MMC in Polokwane in March if God will. One thing I will always remember with a tear in my eye of MMC2010 “walk with Faith, not by sight!!”
