SHALOM MINISTRIES: PRAYER LETTER

Dear Prayer Partners
It was such a delight to read the most recent news letter from Angus. He ministered on the reality of pain in the lives of Christians at the Karoo MMC. It is not often that we receive ministry on this topic anymore.  
I would like to confirm with joy that the Lord heard and answered all our prayers that we offered to Him in faith last month. The joy of organisers of KAROO MMC can be best summarised with the following exclamation from their report:
‘WOW, WOW, WOW!!! What an incredible weekend!!! God did something really amazing in our midst and we just stand in awe of Him. Thank you to everyone who was a part of it….. Lives have been forever changed because of your efforts.’
I also received the following encouraging report from the film maker of ORDINARY PEOPLE:
‘I would like to thank you and all the Shalom prayer partners that prayed for the film project ORDINARY PEOPLE, God blessed and is still blessing this project beyond my wildest dreams. We are receiving countless testimonies from people who saw the film and lives are dramatically affected and changed.’
If you have not yet seen the film I would like to strongly recommend it that you purchase the DVD when it becomes available during about mid June.
Let us now pray for the following events:
MMC PATELEY BRIDGE NORTH YORKSHIRE 25 – 27 MAY
and
‘THE GATHERING’ NELSON, BRITISH COLUMBIA 29 JUNE – 1ST JULY 2012.
The next MMC will take place in the very attractive market town known as Pateley Bridge, North Yorkshire and “The Gathering” is a Family Renewal Conference that will take place at Nelson in the South of British Columbia, Canada.
Let us pray for and expect a great move of the Holy Spirit in the dales of North Yorkshire and the holiday area of Nelson. God started a mighty revival on a farm in the Midlands of Kwazulu Natal. Why not in the Yorkshire Dales? Why not in Nelson? Let us pray and trust God for:
•    The protection, safety, godliness, humility and health of our beloved brother Angus and his wife Jill who have been a formidable team and instruments in the hands of God, often targeted and assailed by the forces of darkness to destroy their faith, love and hope in Him. Stand against any form of fear.
•    A safe and pleasant journey for Angus and all the people that will be attending the above meetings
•    The committee and all their helpers to do all things, for the success of these events, as unto the Lord.
•    The drawing of thousands of unbelievers, complacent and backslidden Christians for salvation and renewal and everlasting life, that they may also escape His wrath. (Jn 3:36).
•    A Mighty revival and move of His Holy Spirit confirming His Word with healings, signs and wonders amongst the people (Mk 16:20 , Acts 4:30).
•    That the word may go out with boldness and power, not fearing the faces of men.( Act 4:29; 6:15)
ORDINARY PEOPLE
•    The Holy Spirit to continue to use this film mightily as well as the DVD that will be available during mid June.
•    The DVD distribution through normal and Christian channels to reach multitudes of people, giving them hope and joy in Jesus and that they will experience God’s love in the process.
•    The successful international distribution of the film through Sony in America and that the film will reach the world with the good news of God’s forgiveness and salvation.
