Dear friends
We greet you in Jesus precious name. I just want to start off by reminding ourselves why we are on this earth. According to the Westminster Confession,
'the chief end of man is to glorify God and enjoy Him forever'.
In our hectic schedule that is what we have got to remember, especially myself.
God has really impressed upon my heart that if we are going to finish the work that God has called us to, whatever it might be that you are involved in, we have to enjoy what we are doing. I think it was St. Augustine who said, 'love the Lord your God with all your heart and then live as you please'.
Since I last wrote to you God has opened huge doors for us. We have had the privilege of speaking on TBN live and at the Grain SA Congress. I have recently returned from an amazing trip to Perth, Australia. On the Sunday morning the tent was bulging with 3200 people and we have already had amazing feedback from men whose lives have been changed forever. We are trusting that many of those Aussies are coming across to the MMC on Shalom 24-26 April.
Regarding MMC 2009, if you look at the farms at the moment, they look like housing developments! They are installing 8kms of 6" piping, hard district roads right through all 3 farms, thousands of toilets and showers are being constructed, compactors, bulldozers, graders, bakkies and delivery vehicles are in and out, public information meetings are being held, the place is humming - it is so exciting! Registrations are climbing steadily at about 1000 a day. We thank God for His incredible faithfulness. Please pray for us - this is our biggest undertaking yet and we are believing for nothing less than 200,000 men.
I think of that scripture in Ps.20:7, 'some trust in chariots, and some in horses: but we will remember the name of the Lord our God'.
I am preparing to go to Moreleta Park DRC, Pretoria on Saturday 21 March for the Daniel Conference, where they expect 7000 men and then to Rant-en-Dal, Krugersdorp on Sunday morning where Jannie Pelser has hired a 5000 seater tent for the service at 8.30am.
Saturday 28 March, 2-4pm, the first stadium event of this year will be the 'Limpopo for Jesus' meeting which is to held at the Peter Mokaba stadium, Polokwane.
We are very, very privileged to have you on our mailing list and ask you to please continue to pray for us, for sustainability and most of all for the joy of the Lord, which is our strength. Nehemiah 8:10
May God bless you.
Yours in Christ's service
