We have just returned from the Limpopo campaign and once again we just see the Holy Spirit blazing a trail of Holy Ghost fire from one end of this beautiful country of ours, South Africa, right to the other end! It was absolutely amazing, it was a full house and the organisation was exceptional. I thank God for my eldest son, Andrew, who organised the event and also led the praise and worship, which was really so special.
We were sorry to miss out on Joe Niemand, our regular soloist, he is busy recording a CD for the MMC with full orchestral backing. We are so excited about that and thank God for Joe. A young lady by the name of Riana Nel stepped up to the plate and what an amazing performance she gave and we thank God for her. There were thousands of first time commitments and the whole stadium repented before God. I really know in my spirit that revival is in our nation and want to encourage each one of us, sometimes the devil plays havoc with us but that scripture in Is.59:19, 'when the enemy comes in like a flood, the spirit of the Lord will raise up a standard against him', is what we saw happening.
The week before that, on the Sunday morning, we were at Rant-en-Dal Church in Krugersdorp. I must admit when I arrived there, Jannie Pelser had told me that he was hiring a 5000 seater tent, and I saw the church packed out with people and thought he was exaggerating, but it didn't matter because the church was full of people, only to walk in the door to be told that this was the overflow hall with a big screen in it and we went around the corner to be confronted with a massive tent, full of eager worshippers and another overflow outside the tent as well. It was an amazing happening and I want to thank God for Ds Jannie Pelser and his family and his intercessors, they did an awesome job and the Lord visited that Church on that Sunday.
On the Saturday we were at the Daniel Conference at Moreleta Park, the biggest NG Church in South Africa and it was jam packed full with 7000 men. The praise and worship was beautiful and the men so attentive. There were some very powerful testimonies given by the men of South Africa about how God had undertaken for them in their times of need. I had the privilege of speaking there and leading the altar call and again we saw thousands of men broken before God. We thank the Lord for His goodness to us.
Last week I was absolutely amazed when I got a phonecall from the USA, from GOD TV international, to say that Rory and Wendy Alec, the founders of the God Channel, are wanting to broadcast our 'Grassroots' program every Saturday morning at 7am worldwide. We are so excited about that. The cherry on the top is that we now have an extra broadcast on ETV at 6.30am Saturday in addition to the 6.30am Sunday slot and almost everybody in our nation has access to ETV. We are getting fantastic response from this, especially from the black folk in our nation.
The days are counting down now to MMC 2009. There is just over 3 weeks to go and we are attempting the biggest step of faith we have ever attempted in our lives. We are making provision for 200,000 men. Everything is coming together beautifully. Roads have been built right through the farms, extra entrances are being made and everything is colour coded. The men have been grouped in clusters with a commander in each group, which has its own facilities such as medical, communications and food kiosks. Supplies have already started arriving and I want to commend the committee on the awesome job that they are doing. I sometimes can't find my way home because the whole place has been transformed so magnificently! The platform is being erected in a few days time. It will be a huge, 8-storey construction with the screens weighing tons each. Every man will be able to see and hear. Nik Fairclough and his team are installing an awesome sound system. I want to encourage you, if you haven't yet registered, to please do so, mainly to assist us logistically. We know that men are notorious for leaving it to the last minute, including myself and of course late registrations are always welcome as well, but please help us this time by registering now. We really need your prayers because we want to see souls saved as the time is short. In my quiet time this morning, finishing the book of Revelation, the Lord spoke to me very clearly in Rev.22:7 'Behold I come quickly: blessed is he that keeps the words of the prophecy of this book.'
