Dear Brethren

We great you in Jesus’ precious name.

Once again it’s with much rejoicing that we report back to you.

We saw God move in a very unique way at the Vodacom rugby stadium in Bloemfontein on the 15th of August. There was a very special presence of the Holy Spirit through the whole campaign and I want to thank God for all the organizers that took time, effort and put money into making it possible. Very rarely have I ever seen such attentive ears to the Word of God like I saw on that afternoon. 28 000 people. At times, when I paused while preaching, I could hear a pin drop yet there was the most amazing response.

We spoke on that terrible sin called pride. Pride always comes before a fall. We used the text from 1 Peter 5 where He says He resists the proud but He gives grace to the humble. We made the altar call and literally thousands of people indicated that they were accepting Jesus for the first time in their life. It was a time of much weeping but also for much joy and celebration. We prayed for the sick and even before that evening was out, one of the main organizers who had been diagnosed with sugar diabetes was healed. We give Him all the praise, glory and the honour for that.

Thank you so much for your constant love and support and prayers without which we could never do this. Please continue to pray for us, for physical strength, for inspiration, as we come to two thirds of the year already completed. We still have three more campaigns to do and many many ‘Grassroots’ productions. I am also working hard on a book called ‘Come of age’ which I hope to release and to have in the bookshops before Christmas. We are getting a wonderful response from all over the world with regard to the ‘Grassroots’ programs. I heard a very touching story about a young man in the southern part of the Sudan that is working for an aid organization. He lives in a mud and grass hut and is very vulnerable to violence and anarchy which just runs riot in that place and yet he said he tunes into ‘Grassroots’ every week, him and his team and it’s keeping them alive-Praise God! We know that the Word of God is a great comfort to God’s people. Good seed does not cost, it pays and we continue to sow good seed as we see the second coming of our Lord Jesus Christ growing nearer literally by the day. May God bless you richly as you continue to work for Him in humility.

Remember, the disciples were arguing who was going to sit at the right and left hand of the Lord in heaven. Jesus took a basin of water and wrapped a towel around his waist and started washing their feet and He said the first shall be last and the greater shall be the least. Whatever you do for God, do it with humility and He is the one who will exalt us in His good time.

May God richly bless you.
